This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled NFSv4: Fix problems with close in the presence of a delegation to the 3.14-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: nfsv4-fix-problems-with-close-in-the-presence-of-a-delegation.patch and it can be found in the queue-3.14 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From aee7af356e151494d5014f57b33460b162f181b5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Trond Myklebust <trond.myklebust@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 25 Aug 2014 22:33:12 -0400 Subject: NFSv4: Fix problems with close in the presence of a delegation From: Trond Myklebust <trond.myklebust@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> commit aee7af356e151494d5014f57b33460b162f181b5 upstream. In the presence of delegations, we can no longer assume that the state->n_rdwr, state->n_rdonly, state->n_wronly reflect the open stateid share mode, and so we need to calculate the initial value for calldata->arg.fmode using the state->flags.
