This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled printk: rename printk_sched to printk_deferred to the 3.15-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: printk-rename-printk_sched-to-printk_deferred.patch and it can be found in the queue-3.15 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From aac74dc495456412c4130a1167ce4beb6c1f0b38 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: John Stultz <john.stultz@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 4 Jun 2014 16:11:40 -0700 Subject: printk: rename printk_sched to printk_deferred From: John Stultz <john.stultz@xxxxxxxxxx> commit aac74dc495456412c4130a1167ce4beb6c1f0b38 upstream. After learning we'll need some sort of deferred printk functionality in the timekeeping core, Peter suggested we rename the printk_sched function so it can be reused by needed subsystems. This only changes the function name. No logic changes.
