This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled hwmon: (adm1021) Fix cache problem when writing temperature limits to the 3.14-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: hwmon-adm1021-fix-cache-problem-when-writing-temperature-limits.patch and it can be found in the queue-3.14 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From c024044d4da2c9c3b32933b4235df1e409293b84 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Axel Lin <axel.lin@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 3 Jul 2014 22:45:45 +0800 Subject: hwmon: (adm1021) Fix cache problem when writing temperature limits From: Axel Lin <axel.lin@xxxxxxxxxx> commit c024044d4da2c9c3b32933b4235df1e409293b84 upstream. The module test script for the adm1021 driver exposes a cache problem when writing temperature limits. temp_min and temp_max are expected to be stored in milli-degrees C but are stored in degrees C.
