BTW: that was a stupid error on my side, I get them now.

On a quick looks above problems seems to be similar to the one already
reported wrt to WCHAN:

Greg, is there any reason why you didn't drop them from 5.14.y as well,
as you did for 5.15.y:

Should I try reverting these three and see if the situations improves?
