This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled [SCSI] virtio-scsi: Skip setting affinity on uninitialized vq to the 3.14-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: virtio-scsi-skip-setting-affinity-on-uninitialized-vq.patch and it can be found in the queue-3.14 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From 0c8482ac92db5ac15792caf23b7f7df9e4f48ae1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Fam Zheng <famz@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2014 10:16:09 +0800 Subject: [SCSI] virtio-scsi: Skip setting affinity on uninitialized vq From: Fam Zheng <famz@xxxxxxxxxx> commit 0c8482ac92db5ac15792caf23b7f7df9e4f48ae1 upstream. virtscsi_init calls virtscsi_remove_vqs on err, even before initializing the vqs. The latter calls virtscsi_set_affinity, so let's check the pointer there before setting affinity on it.
