Yes, Ben Hutchings already reported this and a revert (with CC to
stable which will also catch if it got applied to any trees) already
merged into Linus' tree - 017d9491ce203c620ad1377f46a3ce78d554b2de.
I'm a bit surprised it ever passed testing.
