FAILED: patch "[PATCH] EDAC: Poll timeout cannot be zero, p2" failed to apply to 3.12-stable tree

The patch below does not apply to the 3.12-stable tree.
If someone wants it applied there, or to any other stable or longterm
tree, then please email the backport, including the original git commit

Subject: [PATCH] EDAC: Poll timeout cannot be zero, p2

Sanitize code even more to accept unsigned longs only and to not allow
polling intervals below 1 second as this is unnecessary and doesn't make
much sense anyway for polling errors.
