This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled iio: accel: adxl372: Fix/remove limitation for FIFO samples to my staging git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git in the staging-linus branch. The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the next -rc kernel release. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From d202ce4787e446556c6b9d01f84734c3f8174ba3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Stefan Popa <stefan.popa@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 10 Sep 2019 17:43:32 +0300 Subject: iio: accel: adxl372: Fix/remove limitation for FIFO samples Currently, the driver sets the FIFO_SAMPLES register with the number of sample sets (maximum of 170 for 3 axis data, 256 for 2-axis and 512 for single axis). However, the FIFO_SAMPLES register should store the number of samples, regardless of how the FIFO format is configured.
