Well OK, but that patch (which you first merged on Dec 17!) is not yet
in linux-next, so as far as I'm concerned it is lost.

Also, that patch is missing the -stable tag.  Pali said:

And someone (Hi, Al!) has gone in and mucked around with
afs_proc_init() in mainline with a patch which was never in linux-next
and which will require that this patch be reworked in a manner which
means it will need to be un-reworked for -stable backporting.

Sigh.
