Sure, but I think we're doing that now (unless I don't understand what you're asking). We're currently testing two aspects of the stable kernel:

  1) Anytime stable-rc changes in the latest release branch (linux-5.0.y)
  2) Anytime the list of patches in the queue for the latest branch (queue-5.0 directory) changes

We could possibly wait for the announcement email itself and run our tests once we see it, but it would delay the results a bit. We're watching the repo now and we begin running tests as soon as it changes so that we can reply with results as quickly as possible.
