This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled Revert "selftests: firmware: remove use of non-standard diff -Z to my driver-core git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/driver-core.git in the driver-core-next branch. The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will also be merged in the next major kernel release during the merge window. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From 13ac7db09c914e4991a08b7ad578267d5cdd9856 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Luis Chamberlain <mcgrof@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 7 Feb 2019 11:06:01 -0800 Subject: Revert "selftests: firmware: remove use of non-standard diff -Z option" This reverts commit f70b472e937bb659a7b7a14e64f07308e230888c. This breaks testing on Debian, and this patch was NACKed anyway. The proper way to address this is a quirk for busybox as that is where the issue is present.
