In my previous response, I indicated that the issue still exist in mainline
which is not correct as there was some testing errors on my side. The issue is
not see on mainline. Since mainline code has a lot of refactoring and other
fixes, I have come up with a simpler patch based on upstream commit that fixes
this issue. I am going to send V2 of the original patch i sent in another email.
