First off, I can't take git trees from random hosting sites, like
github, sorry.  And secondly, you always need to use a signed tag, I
can't trust one otherwise.

How much testing and verification did you all do with these patches?
Who reviewed them?

And finally, this week is the middle of the merge window so I am busy
with that, and then I have 2 weeks of conferences in Asia, so it will be
a while before I can get to these patches, even if they were with a
signed tag :)
