This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
ALSA: hda - Fix mono speakers and headset mic on Dell Vostro 5470
to the 3.10-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
0310-ALSA-hda-Fix-mono-speakers-and-headset-mic-on-Dell-V.patch
and it can be found in the queue-3.10 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it.

This is a backport for stable. The original commit SHA is
338cae565c53755de9f87d6a801517940d2d56f7.
On this machine, DAC on node 0x03 seems to give mono output.
Also, it needs additional patches for headset mic support.
It supports CTIA style headsets only.
