This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    mm/mprotect: add a cond_resched() inside change_pmd_range()

to the 4.14-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:

and it can be found in the queue-4.14 subdirectory.

While testing on a large CPU system, detected the following RCU stall
many times over the span of the workload.  This problem is solved by
adding a cond_resched() in the change_pmd_range() function.
