From: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> [ Upstream commit ab3dabb3e8cf077850f20610f73a0def1fed10cb ] If the driver is built as a module, autoload won't work because the module alias information is not filled. So user-space can't match the registered device with the corresponding module. Export the module alias information using the MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() macro. Before this patch: $ modinfo drivers/scsi/ufs/ufs-qcom.ko | grep alias $ After this patch: $ modinfo drivers/scsi/ufs/ufs-qcom.ko | grep alias alias: of:N*T*Cqcom, ufshcC* alias: of:N*T*Cqcom, ufshc Signed-off-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Reviewed-by: Subhash Jadavani <subhashj@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Signed-off-by: Martin K.
