This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled af_key: Add lock to key dump to the 4.9-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: af_key-add-lock-to-key-dump.patch and it can be found in the queue-4.9 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From 89e357d83c06b6fac581c3ca7f0ee3ae7e67109e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Yuejie Shi <syjcnss@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 31 Mar 2017 15:10:20 +0800 Subject: af_key: Add lock to key dump From: Yuejie Shi <syjcnss@xxxxxxxxx> commit 89e357d83c06b6fac581c3ca7f0ee3ae7e67109e upstream. A dump may come in the middle of another dump, modifying its dump structure members. This race condition will result in NULL pointer dereference in kernel. So add a lock to prevent that race.
