Hello Greg,

I would like to raise attention on this fix:

[media] saa7134: fix warm Medion 7134 EEPROM read

When saa7134 module driving a Medion 7134 card is reloaded reads of this
card EEPROM (required for automatic detection of tuner model) will be
corrupted due to I2C gate in DVB-T demod being left closed.
This sometimes also happens on first saa7134 module load after a warm
reboot.

Upstream commit 5a91206ff0d054893

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit?id=5a91206ff0d0548939f3e85a65fb76b400fb0e89

I fact I run this setup and checked that this fix can at least be applied
down to 3.10.y without any 'porting effort'.

Any chance to get this patch into the stable queue(s)?

Now queued up for the stable trees I maintain at the moment (3.18, 4.4,
and 4.9).

thanks,
