Fedora F26 will be released using one of the v4.11.x kernels
(whichever version is current at the end of June I believe).  Taking
this patch into v4.11.x now ensures that the B2260 will work great
out-of-the-box.  Taking it later will ensure that it does not.  The
user will have to `dnf update` (or whatever tom-foolery Fedora uses
these days ;) ) in order to obtain the fix.  The former scenario is
preferred.
