Patch "dma-buf: add support for compat ioctl" has been added to the 4.9-stable tree

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    dma-buf: add support for compat ioctl

to the 4.9-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     dma-buf-add-support-for-compat-ioctl.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.9 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

Add compat ioctl support to dma-buf. This lets one to use DMA_BUF_IOCTL_SYNC
ioctl from 32bit application on 64bit kernel. Data structures for both 32
and 64bit modes are same, so there is no need for additional translation
layer.
