This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    [PATCH v2 for-4.9 29/40] drm/nouveau/disp/nv50-: split chid into chid.ctrl and chid.user

to the 4.9-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     drm-nouveau-disp-nv50-split-chid-into-chid.ctrl-and-chid.user.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.9 subdirectory.

GP102/GP104 make life difficult by redefining the channel indices for
some registers, but not others.
