This is a backport of two LSPCON fixes for the v4.10 stable tree. I send it now separately, as I missed that the first patch is a dependency and the last two patches needed a rebase (they failed to apply automatically to v4.10). Also the fix isn't needed in v4.9 only in v4.10, I fixed the wrong Cc: tags now.
