This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    [media] s5p-mfc: fix failure path of s5p_mfc_alloc_memdev()

to the 4.8-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:

s5p_mfc_alloc_memdev() function lacks proper releasing
of allocated device in case of reserved memory initialization
failure. This results in NULL pointer dereference:
