Dear Sir, I am having lots of trouble PPP crashing in the kernel. I am using ubuntu 16.04 based on linux kernel 4.4.y. The BUG is already fixed in 4.8.y branch and 3.12.y branch. I have included the link here for your reference. Please import this bug-fix patch in to 4.4.y branch.
