This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled ARM: dts: sun9i: Add missing #interrupt-cells to R_PIO pinctrl device node to the 4.8-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: arm-dts-sun9i-add-missing-interrupt-cells-to-r_pio-pinctrl-device-node.patch and it can be found in the queue-4.8 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From 06ad11be7a9e13499ff8e55e46f09d22f9ee6fc0 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@xxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 27 Aug 2016 15:59:50 +0800 Subject: ARM: dts: sun9i: Add missing #interrupt-cells to R_PIO pinctrl device node From: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@xxxxxxxx> commit 06ad11be7a9e13499ff8e55e46f09d22f9ee6fc0 upstream. The R_PIO device node is missing #interrupt-cells, which causes interrupt parsing to fail to match it as a valid interrupt controller. Add #interrupt-cells to it. Also remove the unnecesary #address-cells and #size-cells.
