This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled mei: me: add kaby point device ids to my char-misc git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/char-misc.git in the char-misc-testing branch. The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will be merged to the char-misc-next branch sometime soon, after it passes testing, and the merge window is open. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From ac182e8abc6f93c1c4cc12f042af64c9d7be0d1e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Alexander Usyskin <alexander.usyskin@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 12 Sep 2016 16:21:43 +0300 Subject: mei: me: add kaby point device ids Add device ids for Intel Kabypoint PCH (Kabylake) Cc: <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> #4.6+ Signed-off-by: Alexander Usyskin <alexander.usyskin@xxxxxxxxx> Signed-off-by: Tomas Winkler <tomas.winkler@xxxxxxxxx> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> --- drivers/misc/mei/hw-me-regs.h | 3 +++ drivers/misc/mei/pci-me.c | 3 +++ 2 files changed, 6 insertions(+) diff --git a/drivers/misc/mei/hw-me-regs.h b/drivers/misc/mei/hw-me-regs.h index 0dcb854b4bfc..7ad15d678878 100644 --- a/drivers/misc/mei/hw-me-regs.h +++ b/drivers/misc/mei/hw-me-regs.h @@ -125,6 +125,9 @@ #define MEI_DEV_ID_BXT_M 0x1A9A /* Broxton M */ #define MEI_DEV_ID_APL_I 0x5A9A /* Apollo Lake I */ +#define MEI_DEV_ID_KBP 0xA2BA /* Kaby Point */ +#define MEI_DEV_ID_KBP_2 0xA2BB /* Kaby Point 2 */ + /* * MEI HW Section */ diff --git a/drivers/misc/mei/pci-me.c b/drivers/misc/mei/pci-me.c index 031e7c92fcc7..e85bb371c87d 100644 --- a/drivers/misc/mei/pci-me.c +++ b/drivers/misc/mei/pci-me.c @@ -91,6 +91,9 @@ static const struct pci_device_id mei_me_pci_tbl[] = { {MEI_PCI_DEVICE(MEI_DEV_ID_BXT_M, mei_me_pch8_cfg)}, {MEI_PCI_DEVICE(MEI_DEV_ID_APL_I, mei_me_pch8_cfg)}, + {MEI_PCI_DEVICE(MEI_DEV_ID_KBP, mei_me_pch8_cfg)}, + {MEI_PCI_DEVICE(MEI_DEV_ID_KBP_2, mei_me_pch8_cfg)}, + /* required last entry */ {0, } }; -- 2.9.3 -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe stable" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
