That patch fails to apply to the 3.9-stable kernel, and even with it,
this second patch also fails, due to some #endif placements that I don't
want to even pretend that I can work around to ensure it's all correct.

So, can someone please resend both of these patches, fixed up to apply
to 3.9-stable to stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx so that I can apply them
properly?
