This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    hwmon: (pmbus/ltc2978) Fix peak attribute handling

to the 3.8-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
     hwmon-pmbus-ltc2978-fix-peak-attribute-handling.patch
and it can be found in the queue-3.8 subdirectory.

Peak attributes were not initialized and cleared correctly.
Also, temp2_max is only supported on page 0 and thus does not need to be
an array.
