I don't have objections to this patch going into the stable tree.  I
believe I understand the circumstances that caused the previous
regression, and they shouldn't happen again.  I had felt it wasn't
really necessary for this to go into stable, and given the past
history wanted to slow-walk it into the kernel at large.
