This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled qca_spi: Fix clock speed for multiple QCA7000 to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: qca_spi-fix-clock-speed-for-multiple-qca7000.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 6205d406031fc561e90c8285d7c6b27d07cf39ec Author: Stefan Wahren <wahrenst@xxxxxxx> Date: Fri Dec 6 19:46:42 2024 +0100 qca_spi: Fix clock speed for multiple QCA7000 [ Upstream commit 4dba406fac06b009873fe7a28231b9b7e4288b09 ] Storing the maximum clock speed in module parameter qcaspi_clkspeed has the unintended side effect that the first probed instance defines the value for all other instances. Fix this issue by storing it in max_speed_hz of the relevant SPI device. This fix keeps the priority of the speed parameter (module parameter, device tree property, driver default). Btw this uses the opportunity to get the rid of the unused member clkspeed.
