This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    net: txgbe: fix null pointer to pcs

to the 6.12-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
     net-txgbe-fix-null-pointer-to-pcs.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.12 subdirectory.

    For 1000BASE-X or SGMII interface mode, the PCS also need to be selected.
    Only return null pointer when there is a copper NIC with external PHY.
