This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    nvme: apple: fix device reference counting

to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
     nvme-apple-fix-device-reference-counting.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory.

    Drivers must call nvme_uninit_ctrl after a successful nvme_init_ctrl.
    Split the allocation side out to make the error handling boundary easier
    to navigate. The apple driver had been doing this wrong, leaking the
    controller device memory on a tagset failure.
