This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled clk: rockchip: Set parent rate for DCLK_VOP clock on RK3228 to the 5.4-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: clk-rockchip-set-parent-rate-for-dclk_vop-clock-on-r.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.4 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 87a3916f8d105dbf63abab6877ed7464f7f538f2 Author: Jonas Karlman <jonas@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat Jun 15 17:03:53 2024 +0000 clk: rockchip: Set parent rate for DCLK_VOP clock on RK3228 [ Upstream commit 1d34b9757523c1ad547bd6d040381f62d74a3189 ] Similar to DCLK_LCDC on RK3328, the DCLK_VOP on RK3228 is typically parented by the hdmiphy clk and it is expected that the DCLK_VOP and hdmiphy clk rate are kept in sync. Use CLK_SET_RATE_PARENT and CLK_SET_RATE_NO_REPARENT flags, same as used on RK3328, to make full use of all possible supported display modes.
