This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled ARM: dts: microchip: sam9x60: Fix rtc/rtt clocks to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: arm-dts-microchip-sam9x60-fix-rtc-rtt-clocks.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 21193c91cbd08daa4b9db46f932647e28d5d2719 Author: Alexander Dahl <ada@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Aug 21 07:51:36 2024 +0200 ARM: dts: microchip: sam9x60: Fix rtc/rtt clocks [ Upstream commit d355c895fa4ddd8bec15569eee540baeed7df8c5 ] The RTC and RTT peripherals use the timing domain slow clock (TD_SLCK), sourced from the 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator or slow rc oscillator. The previously used Monitoring domain slow clock (MD_SLCK) is sourced from an internal RC oscillator which is most probably not precise enough for real time clock purposes.
