This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled f2fs: get rid of online repaire on corrupted directory to the 6.1-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: f2fs-get-rid-of-online-repaire-on-corrupted-director.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.1 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 3ef00c5393b270ca5e5a901b85b3b8d4d292f6fb Author: Chao Yu <chao@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri Sep 6 14:27:24 2024 +0800 f2fs: get rid of online repaire on corrupted directory [ Upstream commit 884ee6dc85b959bc152f15bca80c30f06069e6c4 ] syzbot reports a f2fs bug as below: kernel BUG at fs/f2fs/inode.c:896! Let's get rid of online repaire in f2fs_lookup(), and leave the work to fsck.f2fs.
