This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled crypto: hisilicon/qm - inject error before stopping queue to the 6.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: crypto-hisilicon-qm-inject-error-before-stopping-que.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 1e09a3e13d1ef79d0a4b0760d0eb09903b8babf5 Author: Weili Qian <qianweili@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat Aug 31 19:48:31 2024 +0800 crypto: hisilicon/qm - inject error before stopping queue [ Upstream commit b04f06fc0243600665b3b50253869533b7938468 ] The master ooo cannot be completely closed when the accelerator core reports memory error. Therefore, the driver needs to inject the qm error to close the master ooo. Currently, the qm error is injected after stopping queue, memory may be released immediately after stopping queue, causing the device to access the released memory. Therefore, error is injected to close master ooo before stopping queue to ensure that the device does not access the released memory.
