This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled wifi: cfg80211: correct S1G beacon length calculation to the 6.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: wifi-cfg80211-correct-s1g-beacon-length-calculation.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit e2b7377bc538a83fe87a83514f8a2582233b2b7e Author: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Jul 24 13:29:12 2024 +0200 wifi: cfg80211: correct S1G beacon length calculation [ Upstream commit 6873cc4416078202882691b424fcca5b5fb1a94d ] The minimum header length calculation (equivalent to the start of the elements) for the S1G long beacon erroneously required only up to the start of u.s1g_beacon rather than the start of u.s1g_beacon.variable. Fix that, and also shuffle the branches around a bit to not assign useless values that are overwritten later.
