This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled PCI: keystone: Fix NULL pointer dereference in case of DT error in ks_pcie_setup_rc_app_regs() to the 6.1-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: pci-keystone-fix-null-pointer-dereference-in-case-of.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.1 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 265775be1a0a65c3915b8f8408a25a0331383d4a Author: Aleksandr Mishin <amishin@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sun May 5 09:15:17 2024 +0300 PCI: keystone: Fix NULL pointer dereference in case of DT error in ks_pcie_setup_rc_app_regs() [ Upstream commit a231707a91f323af1e5d9f1722055ec2fc1c7775 ] If IORESOURCE_MEM is not provided in Device Tree due to any error, resource_list_first_type() will return NULL and pci_parse_request_of_pci_ranges() will just emit a warning. This will cause a NULL pointer dereference. Fix this bug by adding NULL return check. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.
