This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled arm64: dts: rockchip: Add missing power-domains for rk356x vop_mmu to the 6.1-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: arm64-dts-rockchip-add-missing-power-domains-for-rk3.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.1 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 02d3e4640a9fc389dae0ec2925b6f4bcf8bc022d Author: Cristian Ciocaltea <cristian.ciocaltea@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue Jul 2 04:12:52 2024 +0300 arm64: dts: rockchip: Add missing power-domains for rk356x vop_mmu [ Upstream commit 9d42c3ee3ce37cdad6f98c9e77bfbd0d791ac7da ] The iommu@fe043e00 on RK356x SoC shares the VOP power domain, but the power-domains property was not provided when the node has been added. The consequence is that an attempt to reload the rockchipdrm module will freeze the entire system. That is because on probe time, pm_runtime_get_suppliers() gets called for vop@fe040000, which blocks when pm_runtime_get_sync() is being invoked for iommu@fe043e00. Fix the issue by adding the missing property.
