This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    Bluetooth: hci_sync: Fix not using correct handle

to the 6.9-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     bluetooth-hci_sync-fix-not-using-correct-handle.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.9 subdirectory.

    When setting up an advertisement the code shall always attempt to use
    the handle set by the instance since it may not be equal to the instance
    ID.
