This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled iio: pressure: dps310: support negative temperature values to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: iio-pressure-dps310-support-negative-temperature-val.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 8e6057cf8c94e2d2aa73f34256cac9b2dbdf884c Author: Thomas Haemmerle <thomas.haemmerle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon Apr 15 12:50:27 2024 +0200 iio: pressure: dps310: support negative temperature values [ Upstream commit 9dd6b32e76ff714308964cd9ec91466a343dcb8b ] The current implementation interprets negative values returned from `dps310_calculate_temp` as error codes. This has a side effect that when negative temperature values are calculated, they are interpreted as error. Fix this by using the return value only for error handling and passing a pointer for the value.
