This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled KVM: selftests: Add test for uaccesses to non-existent vgic-v2 CPUIF to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: kvm-selftests-add-test-for-uaccesses-to-non-existent.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit d4e4c55fe447dc99e88b15d3124c3e915cc6bcd4 Author: Oliver Upton <oliver.upton@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Apr 24 17:39:59 2024 +0000 KVM: selftests: Add test for uaccesses to non-existent vgic-v2 CPUIF [ Upstream commit 160933e330f4c5a13931d725a4d952a4b9aefa71 ] Assert that accesses to a non-existent vgic-v2 CPU interface consistently fail across the various KVM device attr ioctls. This also serves as a regression test for a bug wherein KVM hits a NULL dereference when the CPUID specified in the ioctl is invalid. Note that there is no need to print the observed errno, as TEST_ASSERT() will take care of it.
