Patch "ASoC: SOF: Intel: mtl: Implement firmware boot state check" has been added to the 6.9-stable tree

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    ASoC: SOF: Intel: mtl: Implement firmware boot state check

to the 6.9-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     asoc-sof-intel-mtl-implement-firmware-boot-state-che.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.9 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

    With the corrected rom_status_reg values we can now add a check for target
    boot status for firmware booting.
    With the check now we can identify failed firmware boots (IMR boots) and
    we can use the fallback to purge boot the DSP.
