This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled clk: sunxi-ng: common: Support minimum and maximum rate to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: clk-sunxi-ng-common-support-minimum-and-maximum-rate.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From b914ec33b391ec766545a41f0cfc0de3e0b388d7 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Frank Oltmanns <frank@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sun, 10 Mar 2024 14:21:11 +0100 Subject: clk: sunxi-ng: common: Support minimum and maximum rate From: Frank Oltmanns <frank@xxxxxxxxxxxx> commit b914ec33b391ec766545a41f0cfc0de3e0b388d7 upstream. The Allwinner SoC's typically have an upper and lower limit for their clocks' rates. Up until now, support for that has been implemented separately for each clock type. Implement that functionality in the sunxi-ng's common part making use of the CCF rate liming capabilities, so that it is available for all clock types.
