This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

gpio: tangier: Use correct type for the IRQ chip data

to the 6.8-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     gpio-tangier-use-correct-type-for-the-irq-chip-data.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.8 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it.

gpio: tangier: Use correct type for the IRQ chip data

    [ Upstream commit 7d045025a24b6336d444d359bd4312f351d017f9 ]

IRQ chip data contains a pointer to the GPIO chip. Luckily we have
the pointers the same, but strictly speaking it's not guaranteed.
Even though, still better to fix this.
