This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
ARM: imx_v6_v7_defconfig: Restore CONFIG_BACKLIGHT_CLASS_DEVICE
to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
arm-imx_v6_v7_defconfig-restore-config_backlight_class_device.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it.

Since commit bfac19e239a7 ("fbdev: mx3fb: Remove the driver") backlight
is no longer functional.
The fbdev mx3fb driver used to automatically select
CONFIG_BACKLIGHT_CLASS_DEVICE.
Now that the mx3fb driver has been removed, enable the
CONFIG_BACKLIGHT_CLASS_DEVICE option so that backlight can still work
by default.
Tested on a imx6dl-sabresd board.
