This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled drm/amd/display: Add ODM check during pipe split/merge validation to the 6.7-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: drm-amd-display-add-odm-check-during-pipe-split-merg.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.7 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 4369f3260d6da9cd0ddb4997cd8dc1e27ba6a4d0 Author: Relja Vojvodic <relja.vojvodic@xxxxxxx> Date: Fri Dec 1 06:24:59 2023 -0700 drm/amd/display: Add ODM check during pipe split/merge validation [ Upstream commit dd2c5fac91d46df9dc1bf025ef23eff4704bd85f ] [why] When querying DML for a vlevel after pipes have been split or merged the ODM policy would revert to a default policy, which could cause the query to use the incorrect ODM status. In this case ODM 2to1 was validated, but the last DML query would assume no ODM and return the incorrect vlevel. [how] Added ODM check to apply the correct ODM policy before querying DML.
