Patch "clocksource/drivers/timer-riscv: Clear timer interrupt on timer initialization" has been added to the 6.8-stable tree

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    clocksource/drivers/timer-riscv: Clear timer interrupt on timer initialization

to the 6.8-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     clocksource-drivers-timer-riscv-clear-timer-interrup.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.8 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

    In the RISC-V specification, the stimecmp register doesn't have a default
    value. To prevent the timer interrupt from being triggered during timer
    initialization, clear the timer interrupt by writing stimecmp with a
    maximum value.
