This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled cpufreq: Explicitly include correct DT includes to the 5.15-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: cpufreq-explicitly-include-correct-dt-includes.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.15 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 11655e2eada3bf81424ad15bc9cf5e021baabf43 Author: Rob Herring <robh@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri Jul 14 11:44:13 2023 -0600 cpufreq: Explicitly include correct DT includes [ Upstream commit a70eb93a2477371638ef481aaae7bb7b760d3004 ] The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes.
