This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled iommu: Fix compilation without CONFIG_IOMMU_INTEL to the 6.1-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: iommu-fix-compilation-without-config_iommu_intel.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.1 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit fae7ae35194dddc7fd7c66fa2fa5c1eaf9fea898 Author: Bert Karwatzki <spasswolf@xxxxxx> Date: Thu Mar 7 20:44:19 2024 +0100 iommu: Fix compilation without CONFIG_IOMMU_INTEL [ Upstream commit 70bad345e622c23bb530016925c936ab04a646ac ] When the kernel is comiled with CONFIG_IRQ_REMAP=y but without CONFIG_IOMMU_INTEL compilation fails since commit def054b01a8678 with an undefined reference to device_rbtree_find(). This patch makes sure that intel specific code is only compiled with CONFIG_IOMMU_INTEL=y.
